"Making changes that stick" by Dr. Bob Fischer

"Where's your chair?" by Tom Tragesar

Who we are in Christ
Who am I in Christ? This is a question we all need to know the answer to and have confidence in. To know who you are in Christ is to realize the power of God and your destiny in Him. We are not just people that get together for some fun on Sunday mornings, but we are seeking to uncover what we are supposed to be doing in terms of our life in Him. Listen in as our Founding Pastor, Gary Powell teaches us God's plan for us.

When the storms come...
The book of Philippians tells us to forget what is behind and strain toward what is ahead, pressing on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus! It's all about perspective. We need to let go of the past and who we used to be and move forward keeping our focus on Christ and following Him. Listen in as Chet Tokar unpacks this message.

Christianity: What's the Difference?!
In today's world, there are many religions. Why choose Christianity? What is the difference between the God of our faith vs. the gods of other religions. In this message, Dr. Bob Fischer teaches us about the love of God and how He paid the ultimate price to have a real and loving relationship with us. Listen in to this incredible example.

Jesus at the Center
On Sunday, Pastor Gary walked us through what it looks like to have Jesus at the center of our lives. Many people think Jesus needs to be 1st on a list of many... but the truth is He needs to be the center of who we are and what our lives are all about.

Sleeping Through Christmas Week 3: The Gift of Love
Regardless of our circumstances or how we feel this Christmas season, each of us have the opportunity to have our best Christmas ever! If we simply wake up and realize what Christmas is all about. Listen in as Pastor Gary shares this powerful message.

Unstoppable Week 4: Big and Bold
Are we practicing safe Christianity? Or bold Christianity? Rather than being a group of safe believers, the early Christians looked for opportunities to be bold. In this message, Drew challenges us to create our own opportunities to be bold.

Unstoppable Week 1: Oasis Church 26th Anniversary
God has done amazing things at Oasis Church over the last 26 years. On Sunday, Pastor Gary reminded us that we need to have an expectation for God to move in our lives and situations and to get ready to receive it. When we give God our fears and struggles, He is faithful to restore us unto Him. We need to continue to spread the word about what God has done for us and give Him the glory! In this passage, Luke records a conversation that Jesus has with one of His followers. Watch and learn what Jesus really means when he says, "Strive to enter through the Narrow Door."

Brand New: Apoplectic
Jesus stepped into a world where religion was characterized by the temple model: sacred places that housed sacred texts that were interpreted by sacred men who used those texts to control superstitious people. Jesus initiated something entirely new, a complete departure from the temple model. But soon enough some of his followers began to try to assimilate Jesus into the temple model.

Brand: New: Letting Go
How should the world view the church? Unfortunately, we’ve created a brand for the church that Jesus never intended. But we have the opportunity to give everyone a Brand: New perspective.

Jesus: Lord or Lunatic? Week 1: An Unlikely Arrival
As we kick off this new series discussing the life of Jesus, it's important that we look at the way He came into the world. Dr Luke wrote down this extraordinary account of a young girl, a virgin, giving birth to a baby boy. So, when it comes to the virgin birth, why is it important? Do we have to believe it? Does it really matter? If so, what practical implications does it have for our lives today?

The Church I'd love to be a part of
In the last Sunday of the year, Drew shares with us the top 6 things he believes God wants for his church. Watch and see if this resonates with you as well.

Sleeping Through Christmas Week 2: The Gift of Giving
The promises of God regarding giving and being generous are very clear. On Sunday, Josh Hudson and Guy Beasley shared personal stories of how God revealed those promises to them and the affect it had on their lives. Listen in and hear how Giving really is a Gift to the giver.

Unstoppable Week 6: PEACE
When Jesus met with His disciples for the last supper He encouraged them not to fear, but instead receive God's peace He would be giving them in His absence. Through Jesus, God promised us a peace that surpasses our understanding. So, in the midst of every trial we face we can rest in this peace as a solid promise of God. Listen in as Founding Pastor, Gary Powell unpacks this promise in John 14:27.

Give and Take
Thanksgiving is coming up! Think about the most grateful people you know. There's a good chance that they are also some of the most generous. This week we'll talk about how to be better givers but also why we need more takers. Confused? Check out the video.

Unstoppable Week 3: Awaken The Wonder
Remember what it was like to be a child and think that anything was possible? Well, imagine a church that is living out its faith in such a way that it draws people in, regardless of the hurt they may have associated with the church. We want God to awaken that child like wonder in each of us so we can dream big about reaching our city for Christ!

Jesus: Lord or Lunatic? Week 3: The Narrow Door
Several times Jesus reminds his followers that the way into His Kingdom is narrow. He talks about the "narrow door", "narrow gate", and how only a few will find it. This could strike fear into the heart of every person who calls Jesus Lord. What did Jesus mean by this? And, what does that mean for us? How do we know if we're in or out?
In this passage, Luke records a conversation that Jesus has with one of His followers. Watch and learn what Jesus really means when he says, "Strive to enter through the Narrow Door."

House Church Interview / "Opportunity"
At Oasis Church, we are a family of House Churches that are united by a common mission. On Sunday, we interviewed 3 couples that represent some of our House Churches to hear about how God has been working and moving in them. After that, Drew shared from Luke 21. In light of current world events, we look to the warnings and encouragement of Jesus that gives us hope to endure and to seize the opportunity to be witnesses for Him. In this passage, Luke records a conversation that Jesus has with one of His followers. Watch and learn what Jesus really means when he says, "Strive to enter through the Narrow Door."

Jesus: Lord or Lunatic? Week 4: God's total answer for man's total need
The Kingdom of God...it was Jesus' #1 message while He was here on earth. Many witnessed and experienced the supernatural at work through Jesus. It was undeniable that He was the son of God, here to save the world and establish His Father's kingdom on earth. Check out this teaching from Sunday by Founding Pastor, Gary Powell.
In this passage, Luke records a conversation that Jesus has with one of His followers. Watch and learn what Jesus really means when he says, "Strive to enter through the Narrow Door."

Sleeping Through Christmas Week 1: The Gift of Joy
Can you imagine being a kid, waking up on Christmas morning just to realize you overslept and all the presents were gone?!? That is most children's worst nightmare! Throughout this series we'll be talking about the gifts Jesus came to bring us that sometimes we miss because we've been sound asleep.

Unstoppable Week 5: Unshakeable and Assured
In this talk, Drew speaks from the heart concerning the recent terrorist attacks in Paris. It's important that the American Church wakes from it's slumber and gets serious about being disciples and making disciples. We'll look at the words of Jesus in John 16 to give us warning, instruction, and hope.

Unstoppable Week 2: Big Prayers
We pray for safety, for success, for comfort, but how often do we pray for boldness? In this message, we'll talk about how the prayer of the early church should be our prayer today.

Jesus: Lord or Lunatic? Week 2: So what does this mean for us?
If Jesus is a lunatic, the conversation quickly ends. Case closed. But if He's Lord, what does that mean for His followers? In the first 8 chapters of Luke's Gospel, he tells us who Jesus is and tells incredible stories of His life. But something changes in chapter 9. One of Jesus' followers, Peter, makes a bold declaration. Peter, for the first time, claims that Jesus is Lord. For the next 9 chapters Jesus begins to explain what it means to be His followers. In this teaching, we'll look at three truths of what it means to follow Jesus.

Brand New: Redefining Terms
Pastor Gary continues to teach through the differences between the “Temple Model” and the “Jesus Model”. Jesus came to launch a movement that was completely brand new and redefined. Listen in to hear how Jesus redefined holiness.

August 2nd Teaching: Marching Orders
At Oasis we’re big on Missions; both in our community and around the world. Why do we do it? What does God have to say about it? Find out in this Sunday’s teaching, Marching Orders.

Brand: New: Recycled
Religion is powerful—so powerful it can shape our consciences. Unfortunately, our consciences have been shaped by a version of Christianity that reflects a blend of the rules-focused temple model and the Jesus movement, which is demonstrated by love. As a result, we’re tempted to prioritize law keeping over loving others. How do we reconcile God’s law with Jesus’ call to love our neighbors?

Brand New: Mission Activated
In this series we’ve been discussing the difference between the “Temple Model” and the “Jesus Model”. Jesus came to launch a movement that was completely brand new. It’s easy to hide in the temple model. You can sneak in and sneak out. The temple model keeps us on the sidelines, in the grandstands. Jesus invited us into something so much more….to know and be known. At Oasis, we live this out in our House Church. Watch to find out more about how we plan to live out our mission together.
